I should mention that I do believe that Lightroom will remain Lightroom, but at the risk of a bit of flamage, it is possible that Adobe is also thinking of opening it up to third parties so that they can make intelligent updates. I didn’t know about that until I imported, so I used the desktop version of Lightroom. Importing has been the only problem for me, however, as the new software is not yet compatible with my database, so I had to export my images as prescribed for previous versions of Lightroom and then re-import them.
